Job Description

Job Title: Robotics Structural Engineer (Joints / Non-standard Equipment)

I. Responsibilities

We are developing robot joint modules and related automation equipment. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Designing the mechanical structure of robot joints or actuators (focusing on transmission, assembly, and lightweighting).

  • Conducting structural design for non-standard automation equipment (focusing on practical implementation, not just drafting).

  • Collaborating with electrical engineers to achieve electromechanical integration (motor and sensor selection).

  • Participating in prototype assembly, debugging, and troubleshooting.

  • Transforming designs from blueprints into manufacturable, functional, and stable products.

II. Requirements (Core Qualifications)

Must-Haves (3 Key Requirements):

  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical/structural design (experience with non-standard equipment or automation is preferred).

  • Ability to independently complete structural designs (3D modeling + drawing + BOM).

  • Experience in prototype debugging (hands-on experience with assembly, testing, and design iteration).

Nice-to-Haves (Bonus Qualifications):

  • Experience with robotics (joints, robotic arms, AGVs).

  • Familiarity with transmission structures (lead screws, reducers, timing belts, etc.).

  • Experience in motor selection (servo / stepper).

  • Simulation experience (ANSYS / ADAMS).

  • Basic understanding of control systems or ROS (in-depth knowledge is not required).

III. What We Don't Expect From You (Managing Expectations)

  • You are not expected to be an expert in both materials science and AI.

  • You are not expected to conduct purely theoretical research.

  • You are not expected to just draw blueprints without considering practical execution.
